WEAR A FACE MASK

It is no longer news that Corona virus can spread from person to person in close proximity. In the light of this, WHO has recommended wearing face coverings in public settings where social distancing measures are difficult to maintain. NCDC has also made wearing of face mask compulsory. Failure to wear a facemask in public is now an offence. People are now getting used to having to cover their nose and mouth when they go out.

Some express their fashion sense through this. Some have short sentences or phrases printed on them to show what they represent or what they stand for. Truth be told, wearing a face mask for more than five mins is not easy. I personally can't breathe well in mine. For those who are claustrophobic, I don't know how they can cope with this situation . I feel stifled when wearing a face mask.

                                  

This challenge has prompted some safety conscious individuals to come up with better tools for protecting your face. One of such is the face shield which is easier to wear. One can breath easily and talk properly with the face shield. Another one is the face mask with filter. One good thing about the face mask is that you can protect your nostrils from all the foul smells and pollution in the environment. If medical personnel were to carry out a test on our lungs, i am sure they will find them cleaner and healthier than before .

 

So please don't mind the discomfort associated with wearing your face mask when leaving your house. If you can afford the face shield or other protective equipment please use them and stay safe . Face masks can cause infections if not properly handled. Therefore, take time to wash your hands before and after using your them.
