The
University of first Choice is known for her academic excellence. She has
produced great men and women who are at the helm of affairs in many parts the world.
Apart from her academic excellence, University of Lagos is also a great host

October 2015, we were at the University of Lagos home coming reception and
recognition award, which took place at the multipurpose hall, University of
Lagos Campus Akoka. The atmosphere of the Dinner award was a beautiful one.

The recognition dinner
award was held in honor of the Vice president of Nigeria, Professor Yemi
Osinbajo. The Governor of Lagos state, Mr Akinwumi Ambode. The Executive Governor
of Gombe State, Alhaji Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo. The Executive Governor of
Anambra State,Chief Willie Obiano. The Executive Govenor of AKwa-Ibom State, Mr
Udom Gabriel Emmanuel. The Deputy Governor of Abia State, Rt. Hon. Sir Ude Oko
Chukwu who are all alumni of the University of Lagos. The Host Professor Rahamon A. Bello the Vice
Chancellor of the University and all teaching and non- teaching staffs were
delighted to welcome their old students, who have made the University Proud by
their great accomplishments.
